DAILY AGENDA
8am-11am CE learning, 11am-8am the next day...network, collaborate, practice self care... We will take care of the CEs including sign ins, certificates, and holding on to the documentation.
While we are sure this will be a FUN trip, it is also full of work, so it can be considered a “work” trip.
After you reserve your room, you are welcome to submit your CE topic presentation idea. We will need to know the exact length, learning objectives, and your credentials. Then all you have to do is show up. We will send out the finalized agenda of topics once we get everyone’s proposals. Since this is our inaugural event, we do not have NBCC approval, therefore we can only guarantee our CEs are compliant with Iowa’s regulations. Presenters do not receive any compensation for presenting.
Erik is generously allowing up to 15 rooms to use his 30% Hyatt Zilara discount. You only pay for the ALL INCLUSIVE room at the resort and your travel costs. He will coordinate booking with you and the resort. Since we only have 15 rooms, it is by invitation only. You are welcome to invite a guest to room with you. If they are interested in attending, they are more than welcome (and also welcome to submit a presentation). The cost is PER ROOM, not per person.
CE Details
One of the most unique things about this retreat, is the CEs. Since everyone who registers is invited to present, we won’t have a CE schedule until everyone is registered. Its going to be a surprise for everyone!
That doesn’t mean they won’t be professional. Erik, Jennifer, and Kristten will review each CE submission to make sure it fits Iowa’s guidelines. Because this year is our inaugural year, these CEs are only vetted for Iowa requirements. These are not NBCC approved CEs and are not approved for any other state.
After you reserve your room, you are welcome to send us your CE topic presentation idea. We will send out the finalized agenda of topics once we get everyone’s proposals. Each CE submission will be required to have a learning objective, credentials of the presenter, exact length of presentation, and must be related to our profession. As much fun as a Pickle Ball presentation would be, it would not count as a CE. Presentations can be anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours.
There will be a max of 15 possible CEs. We will handle sign ins and certificates. As with any professional CE opportunity, it is expected that when you sign in, you stay for the entire CE presentation.
